Banksia station is one T4 stop north of Rockdale. Walking distance to the centre is approximately 1.2 km along Princes Highway. By car, the trip is 4–5 minutes. Residential streets east of the Highway are the easiest self-parking option.

Parents who prefer to drive find the route straightforward and parking on residential streets near the centre is generally available after 3 pm.
